This Privacy Policy describes how Panda Pocket ("the App"), developed by CodeMug Limited ("we", "us", or "our"), handles your information. We are committed to protecting your privacy.
Our Core Principle
Panda Pocket is designed with privacy as a foundation. The App works 100% offline. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal data on our servers. Your data belongs to you and stays on your device.
Data Storage
All your expense data, savings goals, categories, and settings are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to enable iCloud sync.
iCloud Sync (Optional)
If you choose to enable iCloud sync in the App's settings, your data will be synced across your Apple devices via Apple's iCloud and CloudKit services. This data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to your iCloud data. You can disable iCloud sync at any time in the App's settings.
Camera Usage
The App requests camera access to photograph receipts for expense tracking. All text extraction is performed on-device using Apple's Vision framework (OCR). Photos are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded to any external server.
No Third-Party Services
Panda Pocket does not include:
- Analytics or tracking SDKs
- Advertising frameworks
- Third-party data collection tools
- Crash reporting services that collect personal data
We do not collect, share, or sell your personal data to any third party.
No Account Required
Panda Pocket does not require you to create an account, provide an email address, or share any personal information to use the App.
Data Export
You can export your expense data as a CSV file at any time from the App's settings. This file is generated locally on your device and shared only through methods you choose (e.g., AirDrop, email).
Data Deletion
You can delete all your data at any time from Settings > Reset All Data within the App. This action is immediate and irreversible. You can also delete the App, which removes all locally stored data.
Children's Privacy
Panda Pocket does not collect any personal data from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The App is safe for users of all ages.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
